The title of this series TALQUAL derives from the Latin phrase talis qualis meaning ‘just as such’; however, to the Newfoundlander this expression means ‘the good with the bad.’
The North Atlantic Sea pounding a thousand miles of coastline; deep coves and intimidating cliffs; quaint bays and pastoral farmsteads; the vastness of the coastal barrens and the unrelenting Westerly winds… inarguably make ‘The Rock’ a truly captivating and majestic place to experience.
