'7 Ways to Tell You About Him' negotiates the collaboration between a father's family home movies and a daughter's production footage to interrogate the similarities found in their cinematography.
The scripted narration lays out 7 observations of my Dad's 8mm footage in concert with my camera work in an effort to decipher more about him through his use of the camera and his cinematic eye. The minimal sound design provides a hint of mood - the voice narration was created to mimic performance to lend an ethereal quality to the read.
